who am i?

who is day dreaming foodie?

i am day dreaming foodie!

my name is laura and this is my place to talk about my take on things – i want to share my thoughts on anything from the world of the edible - recipes - my experiences dining out – foraging - exciting revelations in the foodie world – really anything i enjoy finding out about!

i am from wales – though i am currently living in northern ireland – a true country girl at heart – i love life in my ( ancient ) country cottage – with my partner Matt, and our 3 dogs – yes – that’s right – 3 dogs! – hands full – but hearts full as well

since i am surrounded but the best countryside you could wish for :D i shall endeavour to make the most of my surroundings – and hope to brush up on my foraging skills

i am also lusting after the field surrounding my cottage so i can move my horse closer to home – and maybe add a few more members to our little family – watch this space

xx

hi Amy :) Nice to meet you – & thanks for popping by! Its is always nice to find a local blogger isnt it? Makes the world seem a little bit smaller! I will pay a visit to your little spot of the web soon x

  2. Hi Laura, I’m so glad to have people like you sharing in Boxa. I’m the organic beef, potato and milk man. We have an open farm, with a large variety of enterprises, and love to share this with customers, walking groups, schools etc. We have 20 acres of 18 year old forestry which is a lovely place to get close to nature. We have free range cows, milked by a robotic milker. If you’re ever passing drop in.

      Hi David,
How lovely to hear from you! Boxa is such a great scheme I feel lucky to of been introduced to all the wonderful producers.
Rita has told me about your robotic milker for your dairy cattle, I must say I was very intrigued. And it sounds like it works fabulously for both you & the cows. Where is the milk available?
Thanks for the invite – I would LOVE to visit you sometime. Drop me an email / message & hopefully we can sort something out!
      Laura :)
