we took a drive down to hilden brewery, to enjoy lunch down at the tap room
i had no idea what to expect so was over joyed when we where greeted by a long drive way up to a lovely house ( opps dont think we where meant to park there! ) and walked our way to the lovely court yard the tap room is located within
we took our seat in the dining room to wait for our company, while we perused the menus – this includes a brilliant promotional spring menu priced at £10 for a starter and main course! that is crazy good value! especially when the food was so good 🙂
i spent all my time nattering to my fabbi company ( Meagan, Nathan, Siobhan, David & Matt ) and our lovely hostess Fran – so I have no piccies to show – but I enjoyed some very tender and succulent calamari & duck confit with a bean casserole which was very yummy! With the quality and taste, for that price! I wanna go back tomorrow 😀
the dining room itself is stunning with beautiful stone walls – i cosy environment to hide from such sad weather! and outside they have an awesome collection of tipis! the brewery is loaded with history, and even has a titanic link!
highly recommend a visit – i am looking forward to returning for a brewery tour and a lazy evenings dinner 😀
