COOKIES

A cookie is a small text file that gets downloaded to your computer when you visit a website. They are used to track user devices and behaviour in order to improve experience and analyse traffic, but do not collect identifiable data. Once you have agreed to allow cookies, this will be ongoing consent on the Website. So you only have to click that little box once, and then it won’t bother you again!

ANALYTICS

This website uses a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of traffic and visitor behaviour patterns. I do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify any individual.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

My blog subscriptions are managed by three third-party providers: Bloglovin (privacy policy here), MailChimp (privacy policy here) and WordPress. I do not have access to a mailing list and all subscriptions are run on a double-opt-in basis through WordPress. You can find WP’s privacy policy here.

BLOG COMMENTS

I use Disqus as my commenting platform on this website. If you leave a comment on a post, your personal data (name, IP and email address you provide) will be collected and stored by Disqus. I do not personally store this information. Please see Disqus’ privacy policy.

You should be aware that when you voluntarily disclose personally identifiable information (e.g  e-mail address) via comments on the Website, that information can be collected and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or third parties.

AFFILIATE LINKS

I occasionally engage in affiliate marketing, which is done by embedding tracking links into the site. If you click on a link for an affiliate partnership, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track any sales, and this will provide me with a sale commission from the brand (at no additional cost to yourself).

COMPETITIONS

I sometimes run competitions on this website. This would usually be via a third party, Rafflecopter. Any data such as winners details shared with another company for joint competitions will only be done so with explicit written consent.

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Please email Laura@daydreamingfoodie.com should you wish to do so. Please remember that you can unsubscribe to emails at any time.
