Gift Guide – The Foodie Subscription Box

Subscription Boxes have been the ‘in thing’ for a while now – with everything from beauty products to stationary getting in on the act. But somehow the Foodie Subscription Box has been a little slower to catch on. Goodness knows why; what could be better than a guaranteed bundle of one of your favourite things arriving every month?!

Here is my pick of the bunch – lots of local here too. Go forth and shop!

The Foodie Subscription BoxTreat of the month club

Life is Sweet – Treat of the Month Club

Sarah’s sweet treats are one of the highlights of any Sunday trip to St.Georges Market; so the possibility of having a monthly delivery of either cupcakes or brownies is an exciting prospect. Browse the up and coming menu on the website and I challenge you to control those craving… The perfect gift for sisters, mums and best friends – basically anyone who might be persuaded to share!

Prices start at £80 for 6 Months of 1/2 a dozen cupcakes

Mikes Fancy Cheese

Mikes Fancy Cheese – Irish Cheese Mix

For those of you who haven’t heard of Mike; he is the brains behind Northern Ireland’s first raw milk, artisanal, blue cheese – Young Buck ♥ He is also a superb Irish cheesemonger, and now he has joined forces with Indie Fude to offer us lucky ducks the opportunity to subscribe to receive a selection of Irelands best cheese in the post EVERY MONTH! These parcels of goodness do not only bring you great cheese, but Indie Fude select accompaniments from their vast selection of treats to make your cheese board sing. I wonder if I can persuade someone to gift this to me this Christmas?! #CheeseAddict

World of Chilli – Three Month Subscription

James Ransome had his ‘lightbulb moment’ in a market in Marrakesh – and in 2005 the Spicery was born. Now, these delicious boxes are sent all over the world, introducing people to new ingredients and recipes every month. There are lots of different options, but the ‘World of Chilli’ box appeals to me. AND this foodie subscription box is likely to be a present for one of my family this year… Each box contains all the spices you need to make a meal for four people including a main meal and either a dessert or a starter. The first month is centred around Mexico, the home of one of my favourite cuisines ♥ and includes NINE different types of chillis! I wonder if said family member will invite me round for dinner…

Mello Mallo – Marshmallow Subscription

Not so long ago this post from the super Emma inspired a Marshmallow shopping spree. This was not something I lived to regret! Marshmallows are a tricky thing to get right. Trust me, I know after a few too many failed attempts… But Laura knows how to form the perfect fluffy marshmallows. And if my ( rather large ) order was anything to go by; she knows how to make them taste heavenly too ♥ This foodie subscription box would mean 3/6/12 months worth of marshmallows popped through your dear ones postbox? Keep an eye our for the Raspberry & White Chocolate ones. #nomnomnom

Prices start at £23 for 6 months

Bite to Savour – Seasonal Subscriptions

Bite to Savour offer an array of options for a foodie subscription box, but the seasonal subscription boxes are the jewel in their crown! The products are sure to impress; nestled in their box with a great little producer guide to lead you through. Here’s a sneaky look at what the Autumn box included, to give you an idea of what to expect. I recon this would be a superb pressie for someone who lives away from home. Any friend who have moved to London or other distant locations? #giftsorted

Prices start at £23 for the Winter Box or £115 for the four seasons.

Have you spied a great present? Is there a foodie subscription box you have your eye on? I’d love to hear about any other UK and Ireland based subscription boxes you have spotted ♥
