Last Thursday I made a trip a couple of villages across to Comber, where a local online and market place company, Indie Fude, have opened a pop up shop. Indie Fude have been on my radar for sometime – having come across them at the monthly Comber Market ( the 1st Thursday of every month ) and also via their tempting website.
The shop is packed full of all the goodies you can find online – but if you are anything like me you will savour the chance to hold and smell each product in real life, before parting with your cash. And part with my cash I did; as there were many an item that I hadn’t seen before. It’s only polite to try something you’ve never tried before – right? Ever the student 😉
Don’t worry though, you will find all your old favourites here too. Along side some exciting new names, nestle the likes of Deli Muru, Leggygowan Goats Cheese and Young Buck. Fridays are Mikes Fancy Cheese days, and I am sure to be tempted back for a tasting sesh with the man himself. Keep and eye on the facebook page to keep up to date with events and happenings.
If you can’t manage a trip to the Indie Fude pop up in Comber, do make sure to check out the website. ALL the goodies – WIN WIN! Support your local artisans. With such a wealth of superb products out there, you’d be daft not to!
